The American Red Cross' unwavering commitment to members of the U.S. military, its veterans and their families continues to grow and develop more than a century after Clara Barton first recruited nurses to support the U.S. Army. Today, the Red Cross is meeting the needs of a changing military and expanding services to veterans. Red Cross support of military members and their families enhances morale and contributes to increased operational capability in several ways.

The National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass Series
A pass is your ticket to more than 2,000 federal recreation sites. Each pass covers entrance fees at national parks and national wildlife refuges as well as standard amenity fees at national forests and grasslands, and at lands managed by the Bureau of Land Management and Bureau of Reclamation. A pass covers entrance and standard amenity fees for a driver and all passengers in a personal vehicle at per vehicle fee areas (or up to four adults at sites that charge per person). Children age 15 or under are admitted free.

Coffee Bunker is about outreach. In our continued efforts to reach all veterans, we find it important to meet them right where they are in their lives. We strive to connect them with the resources and advantages the Tulsa community has for them. We believe in bringing Coffee Bunker to our veterans in order to give them an opportunity to know there is a special place for them to call their own, and to find how we and our sister resources can help them.

Veterans, or family members, who served in any combat zone and received a military campaign ribbon (Vietnam, Southwest Asia, OEF, OIF, etc.) are eligible for Vet Center services. Readjustment counseling is provided to include a wide range services to eligible Veterans and their families in the effort to support a successful transition from military to civilian life. Services include:
Individual, family, and group counseling
Bereavement counseling for families who experience an active duty death
Military sexual trauma counseling and referral
Normal working hours are 8:00am to 4:30pm on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. In an effort to better serve the veteran and family members, upon request Vet Centers will provide services after normal work hours and/or on weekends.
