PTSD deployment study seeks your input now. A war veteran (and life member in a Maryland VFW Post) graduate student at the University of Phoenix is conducting research for a doctoral degree in Health Care Administration. The research topic is to explore the pre- and post deployment health care screening for PTSD during recent conflicts. If you are a VFW member, deployed to Iraq or Afghanistan between 2001 and the present, completed deployment processing through Fort Bragg, Fort Dix, Fort McCoy, or Fort Meade, and are willing to participate in this study, please contact us now.
Congratulations to Lyn MacArthur, LAVFW Maryland's immediate past president, who was awarded President of the Year on Monday, July 21, 2014 at the 101st National Convention of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
