Jonathon has been an entrepreneur his entire life. He was raised in Oklahoma with a sense of service and community from his time working for Governor Keating and for the CIO of the University of Oklahoma. Jonathon has a degree from OU in Management Information Systems and is an expert in Internet programming, design, architecture, and social media integrations. Much of Jonathon's leadership and knowledge stems from his roles developing software systems and business cases while working at Blackboard Inc. when it was a public company for five years. Jonathon worked as a contractor for the Army National Guard Bureau and the Army Provost Marshal General. Jonathon works out of the 1776DC Startup incubator and consults with a wide group of Veteran and Military IT leaders.
At ServingVETS, Jonathon is responsible for company strategy, financial accounting, and human resources. Jonathon works closely with Paul Day on the delivery and roadmap of every feature and function on ServingVETS. Jonathon also works closely with Calvin Davis, David Dye, and Floyd Garrett and the entire team to ensure the business is delivering value to both sides of our online platform.

Chief Technology Officer, Co-founder
Paul has more than 13 years designing and developing complex web applications in a variety of technologies. Much of his professional experience involves helping federal agencies automate complex paper-based workflows, allowing management to better utilize their existing employee base and focus on the agency's mission. Past agencies include: NASA, NOAA Marine Fisheries Service, US Navy, and the Social Security Administration. Currently, Paul is also working for Quotient, Inc. as a Web Application Developer.
At ServingVETS.org, Paul has built the entire technical infrastructure of our ratings and reviews community platform and is in charge of every line of code and every screen pixel for all websites, APIs, and apps that tie into the ServingVETS.org community platform. Paul makes all decisions on the technical roadmap and oversees a team of volunteer coders and designers.
Paul has a B.A. in Economics from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, and an M.S. in Computer Information Systems from the University of Phoenix. He currently lives in Centreville, MD, part of Maryland's beautiful Eastern Shore, with his wife and three children, and is also an avid runner.
